Ambition & Success Abroad

A portrait project celebrating ambitious Polish women building their lives, careers and businesses abroad.

Ambition & Success Abroad is a long-term photographic project dedicated to Polish women who have stepped beyond the borders of Poland to build successful careers, businesses and lives of their own.

The project began in England and continues in the Netherlands, where I moved a few years ago.

Each woman is photographed in her professional environment — in the place where her ambition, creativity and hard work come to life. Alongside the workplace portraits, I create a more personal portrait: a reminder that behind every successful businesswoman, entrepreneur, founder or professional is a woman who can be both strong and feminine, ambitious and authentic, powerful and beautifully herself.

Because success does not mean losing yourself in the constant rush.

It means creating a life that reflects who you are.

Every participant is also invited to share a short biography in her own words. I deliberately leave this part completely open — no editing, no rewriting, no added interpretation. Each woman gets to tell her story exactly as she wants it to be told.

I believe Polish women are resourceful, ambitious, creative and remarkably determined. Through this project, I want to celebrate that spirit — while creating something bigger than a collection of beautiful portraits.

I want these stories to inspire women everywhere to pursue their ambitions, build their own businesses, embrace their individuality and believe that their dreams are worth pursuing.

And if, years from now, these stories become a book, it will be a book not simply about success abroad, but about the women behind it.
